Automatic operation for intelligent fan control
Achieving optimum extraction of kitchen vapours and odours – while also saving energy: A Miele cooker hood equipped with Con@ctivity 2.0 does this automatically. Miele Con@ctivity 2.0 enables the cooker hood to communicate with the hob. Con@ctivity 2.0 gathers information from the hob and transmits it to the controls in the cooker hood. Your Miele cooker hood then uses this data to automatically select the correct fan setting to ensure the optimum room microclimate at all times. So you can concentrate completely on the cooking process. You don’t even have to remember to switch off the appliance. With the automatic run-on control, the cooker hood will switch itself off automatically after you have finished cooking so you do not use any more energy than is necessary. Manual operation is also possible.

Convenience and safety in detail
Located behind the grease filters is the Miele CleanCover: Instead of sharp metal edges and electrical components you will find only a sealed, smooth surface. It is particularly easy to clean and protects you from coming in contact with cables and motor components. Miele attention to detail – for your convenience and safety.

Miele cooker hoods are equipped with a 10-ply stainless-steel grease filter. The top layers and filter frame are made of high-quality stainless steel. “When you conveniently clean the grease filters in the dishwasher, no visible discolouring will occur,” and the Miele grease filters keep their high-quality appearance for a long time.
Booster setting switch-off
Programmable maximum power
The Booster setting provides very high air flow and is only intended for brief operation, for example, when heavy smoke or strong odours develop when food is burned. The Booster setting can be programmed so that the fan automatically switches back to Setting 3 after 5 minutes. This avoids unnecessary energy consumption.

Powerful lighting with minimum energy consumption
LED spotlights are an optical highlight and are environmentally friendly. A Miele LED spotlight consumes only 3 or 4.5 W and thus saves a lot of electricity. Miele LEDs illuminate the hob with a warm, natural and even light.
Active AirClean filter
A completely odour-free kitchen
Miele recirculation mode cooker hoods always require an Active AirClean filter in addition to the grease filter. This Miele filter removes odours efficiently and long-term.
Run-on function
Automatic fan run-on
The automatic fan run-on ensures the full extraction of steam and odours still in the air after cooking. The cooker hood can be set to switch off automatically after 5 or 15 minutes.
Filter indicator
Countdown time conveniently in view
If the grease or active charcoal filter of your Miele cooker hood is saturated, it is indicated by a lit-up red LED. Your filter should then be cleaned or replaced as soon as possible. You can individually adjust the factory-set service life of the filters: The grease filter saturation indicator can be programmed for 20, 30, 40 or 50 hours, the indicator for active charcoal filter replacement for 120, 180 or 240 hours.
